Field Trips.

We offer students unique learning opportunities through field trips to the woods operation of Gray Logging, LLC. Under the guidance of local forester Todd Witt and Logging Operations Manager Joshua Light, students explore tree species, forest sustainability, and the workings of logging equipment. Each student receives a longleaf pine seedling, donated by Superior Trees of Lee, Florida, to plant at home, fostering a connection to nature.

Combat Marine Outdoors.

In partnership with M.A. Rigoni of Perry, Florida, and Combat Marine Outdoors, we host wounded warriors from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces for an unforgettable outdoor experience. This program offers a week of hog hunting, fishing, and shooting sporting clays, along with a behind-the-scenes tour of the logging industry. We honor the bravery and sacrifice of these service members and their families.

Madison County Little League.

Genesis Timber proudly supports the Madison County Little League, INC., as a team sponsor since 2015. We believe in fostering youth sports as a means of building character, teamwork, and community spirit among the young athletes of Madison and surrounding areas.

Madison County High School.

Our commitment to local education extends to Madison County High School, where we support the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Athletic Booster Club, and Project Graduation. These initiatives help enrich students’ lives, promote athletic excellence, and ensure a memorable graduation experience.
